Ce brevet porte sur une nouvelle fa\u00e7on de traiter l&rsquo;hypertension pulmonaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette conf\u00e9rence de presse \u00e9tait plac\u00e9e sous la pr\u00e9sidence du Directeur G\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l\u2019IMPM et a connu la pr\u00e9sence de plusieurs m\u00e9dia nationaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans le cadre de ses travaux de recherche sur&nbsp;le traitement de l\u2019hypertension pulmonaire en administrant les articulateurs du r\u00e9cepteur du peptide natriur\u00e9tique de type C, le chercheur a d\u00e9couvert une nouvelle fa\u00e7on de traiter l&rsquo;hypertension pulmonaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019hypertension pulmonaire est une maladie caract\u00e9ris\u00e9e par un dysfonctionnement vasculaire pulmonaire emp\u00eachant le sang de circuler normalement dans les poumons, en raison d&rsquo;un r\u00e9tr\u00e9cissement des art\u00e8res pulmonaires. A l&rsquo;heure actuelle, il n&rsquo;existe pas de cure \u00e0 cette maladie aux sympt\u00f4mes progressifs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/impm-cm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Pattern-presentation-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1892\" srcset=\"https:\/\/impm-cm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Pattern-presentation-2.png 1024w, https:\/\/impm-cm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Pattern-presentation-2-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/impm-cm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Pattern-presentation-2-768x432.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019invention du chercheur repose sur l\u2019observation qu&rsquo;une perte de fonction ou des mutations du g\u00e8ne codant le r\u00e9cepteur du peptide natriur\u00e9tique de type C (NPR-C), o\u00f9 l\u2019inhibition de la voie du NPR-C peut conduire au d\u00e9veloppement de l&rsquo;hypertension art\u00e9rielle pulmonaire (HTPA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&rsquo;invention propose donc une m\u00e9thode consistant \u00e0 utiliser les analogues synth\u00e9tiques du NPR-C comme agents de lutte contre les vasculopathies pulmonaires. Ceci pourrait nous permettre de d\u00e9velopper un m\u00e9dicament efficace en am\u00e9liorant la vie des patients atteints de cette anomalie au Cameroun et ailleurs afin d&rsquo;acqu\u00e9rir une meilleure sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&rsquo;invention concerne \u00e9galement des m\u00e9thodes permettant de diagnostiquer, de pr\u00e9dire une r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 un traitement et de d\u00e9pister des all\u00e8les du g\u00e8ne du NPC-R qui sont susceptibles de provoquer le d\u00e9veloppement de la HTAP et des troubles associ\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces travaux ont \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9s dans les revues scientifiques europ\u00e9ennes et am\u00e9ricaines et ont conduit \u00e0 l\u2019obtention d\u2019un brevet europ\u00e9en le 10 mars 2021 d\u00e9cern\u00e9 par l\u2019Office Europ\u00e9en
